For the past few weeks, we have been coming across the Hipo Pasta fresh pasta truck in several towns in the canton of Hucqueliers and on Desvres.

Cédric Hipolito, 34, was previously a storekeeper forklift driver at Valéo, but the idea of changing direction and creating his food truck had been in his head for almost five years. He took the plunge and after several months of training (business, hygiene, accounting and of course cooking), he was able to retrain by investing in a food truck entirely dedicated to fresh pasta. Whether you want them carbo, bolo, curry, chorizo or cheese… the pastas and sauces are homemade with quality ingredients for a reasonable cost (€6.50 to €8 and children €4.50).

Find Hipo Pasta every week on Tuesdays, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Zoteux; Wednesday at the Hucqueliers market, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; Thursday, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in Bourthes and Friday in the Carrefour contact Desvres car park, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
